HOLY GUN or PRAYER FOR CONFLICT RESOLUTION

When I went through conflict resolution training years ago I learned that asking a question was the first step in resolving it. But according to Wikipedia prayer could be it:

One cannot stop laughing at the thought that this may have been written by the lot at the Royal College of Psychiatrists Spirituality Section or similar.

Prayer does not work. Sorry, but it does not.

Here is a photograph of a what looks like a Serbian priest who has just blessed a machine gun. Tank is the alter of a sort. People on it have also been blessed. How many examples throughout history in many countries can we think of similar services performed by the clergy at the request of the fearful?

Pathological conflict avoidance is a characteristic of dysfunctional units and that is why some questions never get asked by the fearful investigators at GMC. For example one lot of psychiatrists can claim to GMC that another lot of psychiatrists are mad and no questions get asked of those making those allegations.

Paradoxically, the person who knows about conflict resolution gets referred to Conflict Resolution Training by General Medical Council Fitness to Practice Panel. Shame, shame, shame.
