10-03-10

The Day started off like it usually did, he woke up, had his cup of Hot Chocolate, and thought about his plans for the day. He thought about his problems, he thought about his loved ones, he thought about finding somebody to love, and to love him back in return. He then started off his day, just like how he starts any other day, hoping. He found out that his house mate's pets had just giver birth to more new pets, he also received his new incoming furniture as well as had his lunch. Like other days, things were going on just like any other day.

Sitting in front of the computer screen, just like he would any other day, he checked his emails, like he would normally would. But a text message came into his phone with bad news, and he thought, that today was not like any other day. He sat in front of the computer screen quietly, not doing anything, thinking about an Uncle he had just lost. He felt no sadness, he just went blank. He thought about how he saw his Uncle having a good time with his family last Christmas, he thought about how his Uncle visited his mother two months back. He then realized that he was not at all close to his late uncle, he did see the man frequently, had a few words, but his late uncle was just a relative to him.

He then had his dinner and watched a movie, like he would do everyday, and received a call from his mother, just like he would any other day. She told him about the situation, what she's doing and how she's feeling, she told him that she had just sent him money, just like she would, any other day. The conversation with his mother then ended with a good night, like it would any other day.

He then started thinking about the day he had, he thought about his problems, he thought about his loved ones, he thought about his late uncle. He thought about how he didn't know his uncle well, but then, he thought about those who did. He thought about his uncle's wife, who lost a husband that stood by her when she was battling cancer, he thought about his cousins, who lost a father, a wonderful father who supported them all their life, he thought about his mother, who lost her younger brother, he younger brother who often visited her to keep her company, he thought about the rest of his family, who knew his late uncle a lot more than he did, and of how his late uncle meant a great deal to them.

He then lay there on his couch, thinking about his day, thinking about his loved ones, and thinking about the people he's lost. Rest in Peace my Dear Uncle. I may have not have known you well, but I know you were a great man to the people who did.

With Love
