I'm driving a 2005 Green Colored Proton Savvy. And yes, I haven't started it for six months because I lost the car keys. I lost both the original and a spare. And cars these days (Proton Waja and above, Perodua Myvi and above, and all other cars) have a special chip inside that allows only the keys to start the car. If you made a spare and there isn't any chip inside, you still can't start the car. So if you've lost both your keys, you're screwed.
I had a hard time sleeping last night because I kept thinking about what was going to happen. I felt like something was gonna go wrong. And when the tow truck came at 10am, it couldn't tow my car because it was a different kind of tow truck. I had to call for another towing service (one that can tow my car) and finally, three hours later, they showed up. I got to Proton (missing my 10.45am appointment) at 1.30pm and they told me to come back at 2pm. I literally wanted to scream at the staff there. But I held it in.
Finally when I got to see the staff in charge, they took me to access the damage and the repair. I found out the price was way below what I thought it would be. And the car will be done in two days. So being happy that it all turned out well, I left the place and headed for an early celebration meal (i had rice).
Hopefully things will remain well:)
