Being Vain

Okay, when someone tell's you that you are good looking, or leng zhai in other words, what would you usually do? For me rite, I know where I stand when it comes to looks, I don't look like Brad Pitt of course, I see myself along the lines on Lee Hom (Provided I get a stylist, trainer, and people who make me beautiful), but anyway, I attract a lot of Aunties, like they keep saying like "Wow, you're so Leng Zhai!" and I would go like "No la, I'm okay only."

I would like to think that I'm a humble person, but I'm not, when someone whom I'm comfortable with says that I look good, I would go "Of COURSE!" just to be funny. However, I strongly believe in the term beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder though. Whether if we are really good looking, we should always learn to be humble and not bring others down. I learned that in a way, like I when I see someone who lacks confidence, I would therefore not do anything that would bring down their confidence even more, I would support them and help them build it.

But if there is someone who has too much confidence, then that's a another story to begin with. And there's the people who are comfortable with who they are, like me as an example (i have insecurities as well but you know lah!), it's okay to joke accordingly, like insult or be cocky accordingly because I have friends who are comfortable with themselves and we joke about each other.

I was not always comfortable though, but once you're comfortable, you'll learn to not that things personally (i do sometimes, but i try not to) especially when it comes to your physical looks:P
