I've seen this famous film a few months ago and was very inspired by its setting, the 1960s swinging London. It was directed by Michelangelo Antonioni and released in 1966. It won the Grand Prix at the Festival de Cannes in 1967 and was also nominated for two Oscars.

It shows a blasé young fashion photographer who is on the hunt for inspiration. All the famous models and pretty young things throw themselves at him, but he is hungry for something different. On his quest, after having taken some photographs in a desolate park, he zooms in to find out he captured a murder scene by mistake.

The fashion is great: it's those Mary Quant mini-skirt days, with straight lines and lots of color. The shaggy young photographer has a hip, roomy loft where he lives and works. And there are appearances from Verushka, the iconic model of the time, as well as an unknown, young Jane Birkin, before her Paris days.
