New heart same dick, the coming race war, and granny get your collie weed.

It looks like the hunting partner from hell is at it again. You would think that after the guy bought himself a few more years on this earth he would go off to Wyoming somewhere and sit next to a hot stove so that he can get used to the temperature in the place where he will be spending his time after he leaves us. Instead, he is at it again. The guy is criticizing the sitting president and his administration.

"He has been an unmitigated disaster to the country," Cheney said of President Barack Obama.
"I can't think of a time when I felt it was more important for us to defeat an incumbent president today with respect to Barack Obama. I think he has been an unmitigated disaster to the country," Cheney said at the Wyoming Republican Party state convention in Cheyenne on Saturday.

"I think to be in a position where he gets four more years in the White House to continue the policies he has, both with respect to the economy, and tax policy, and defense and some other areas would be a huge, huge disappointment," the former Vice President said. " [Source]

I suppose when you have to live with needlessly sending thousands of people off to die, and destroying the economy in the process, you have to put the focus on the other guy so that we can all forget what an absolute mess you made of your eight years.

Don't worry Mr. Cheney, I suspect that you won't be around to see what a huge disappointment this president has been. Sadly, what might have been a perfectly good heart has been wasted on you.

Anyway, I wonder if when the race war that conservatives have been predicting finally comes to A-merry-ca they will use the self defense strategy to justify the killing of those brown folks?

That clown in Norway tried to use it. Unfortunately for him I don't think he will be that successful. I suspect that my right wing friends will want to make the same arguments here; that multiculturalism is such a threat to the future of the republic that drastic measures must be taken to stop it.

One thing conservatives will have to learn to do, though, is tell us Negroes apart. Mike Tyson looks nothing like Dr. Eric Dyson, (or Touré for that matter) yet my conservative friends can't seem to tell them apart. This is not good. Are you going to shoot and kill the sympathetic black spy (think Larry Elder, or Jesse Lee Peterson) because you thought he was an agitator? I am telling you that you wingnuts better get your s**t together before the war starts.

"That principle was put into practice the following morning when reporter Susan Candiotti quoted the Facebook page of a suspect in the Tulsa shooting spree, which said “Today is two years that my dad has been gone, shot by a fucking nigger.”

We also noted that CNN had relaxed language standards a few weeks ago, playing an uncensored clip of a 911 tape that contained the “f-word” repeatedly. Newsbusters‘ Noel Sheppard had no problem with the “f-word,” but had this thoughtful critique of Lemon’s premise:
Now, weeks after the shooting of Trayvon Martin – as the media try to fabricate a race war to assist the reelection of Barack Obama – not only are CNN employees saying n–ger on the air, a CNN host is advocating the previously offensive term be used in all reports rather than the politically correct one.
Let that sink in. Two stories, six black shooting victims, but Noel Sheppard thinks that quoting the word “nigger” is the problem, and it’s somehow going to lead to a “race war.” The shootings of black people aren’t the problem, the calling black people “nigger” isn’t the problem, it’s the accurate quoting of that word that’s going to cause a deadly race war.

With six black shooting victims at the heart of this story, a reasonable person might think that Sheppard was referring to a war on black people, but he dispelled that in his segment with Lemon last night. After repeating the claim that a race war is imminent because people are talking about racism (not because of the racism), Lemon said “I don’t think we’re on the verge of any race war here. I think we’re beyond that in the United States.”

Do you hear that Negros? "The shootings of black people aren't problem."

I saw Michael Eric Tyson,” Sheppard began, as Lemon cut in to correct him. ”Dyson,” Lemon said, referring to Georgetown University Professor Michael Eric Dyson.

“Dyson,” Sheppard continued, “on Face The Nation today with Bob Schieffer, and he was saying that if Zimmerman is found innocent, there’s going to be a lot — a lot of problems. There’s going to be a lot of uprisings. So it’s not just me saying that this is possible, Don.”

It’s amusing that Sheppard would confuse Michael Eric Dyson with the textbook example of modern ScaryBlackMan-itude, but is it a telling Freudian slip? Maybe not, but Sheppard also seems to have a problem telling one black pundit from another. While Dyson did appear on Face The Nation, it was Touré who talked about the possible consequences of a George Zimmerman acquittal. [Source]

No Mr. Christopher, it's not "amusing" at all. It's all rather sad.

Finally, I hope Paul Ryan realizes what he is doing to senior citizens in this country. He is scaring grandma and grandpa about their future and causing them to do desperate things.

"ABC News’ Alex Perez reports:
Silver haired and sweet faced, Darlene Mayes looks like many grannies but according to police, she is one of Oklahoma’s biggest drug kingpins.
Her operation went up in smoke this week, when police entered her home and found 4 pounds of pot and $276,000 cash.

Police found $15,000 bundles of cash stashed away in the home.
Mayes initially told police the money was part of her retirement fund.
Police also say she was packing a semiautomatic pistol and a revolver.
Investigators say her alleged pot-dealing network spanned four states, from Tulsa, Okla., to Arkansas, Kansas, and Missouri.

Police believe she supplied up to 40 percent of the marijuana in that area.
As the mastermind, police believe she had a network of dealers, including her son Jerry who was also arrested.

Law enforcement expert Brad Garrett says harmless looking seniors can sometimes be the most efficient drug dealers.

“It doesn’t surprise me that someone this age would be actively involved in marijuana distribution because there’s just too much money to be made. If they keep a low profile, they don’t talk to many people, and they don’t get greedy, they can go on for years.” [Source]

Mr. Ryan, you and your friends should be ashamed of yourselves.

More on you know who.

It is day 27 since he killed Trayvon Martin, and George Zimmerman is still free. We live in quite a country. A celebrity with zero talent is flour bombed and the person throwing the flour is arrested immediately as if they just shot the president. Flour!

"I think 'What if that was some other substance? What if that person had a dangerous weapon?" Kardashian told US. "And so we are definitely changing things up a little bit, amping up security, taking some measures, and... I'm gonna definitely deal with it because it is not acceptable."

Yes, God forbid she had thrown some skittles at you.

And I see that it didn't take long for Mr. Zimmerman's lawyer to use the some of his friends are black defense. His lawyer, Craig Sonner, said that he actually mentored a "black kid...."

First of all, if what I read about George Zimmerman's background is true, that kid should have probably been mentoring him.

Totally off topic. But I have to blog about it before I forget. There is a story out that Dick Cheney had a heart transplant. I just hope that he gets a human heart this time. He had been on the waiting list for 20 long months. I guess those "death panels" republicans like to talk about spared his life.

Finally, I need you all to tell me what you think of the following story. I know I chase the Big R a lot, but sometimes the Big R can be so silly that I don't even feel like chasing it.

"A black ninth-grader in Fairfax Country, Virginia was reading a Langston Hughes poem in class when his teacher instructed him to read it blacker, The Washington Post reports.

As Jordan Shumate recalls the incident to The Post, the teacher didn’t hold back in punches in expressing her displeasure with how he was reading the poems.
“She told me, ‘Blacker, Jordan — c’mon, blacker. I thought you were black,’ ” said Shumate, who is African American.
When he refused to comply with her ridiculous request, the teacher read the poem herself. “She sounded like a maid in the 1960s,” Shumate told The Post. “She read the poem like a slave, basically.”
Watch a video report of this story to see Shumate express his shock at his teacher’s behavior" [Source]

I swear these poor young black men can't buy a break in A-merry-ca these days. If you speak correctly and with proper diction they tell you to speak "blacker". And, If you wear a hoodie, they shoot you to death.

Sex,lies, and American politics.

The republicans will be having their national convention in Tampa next year, and the folks who will be busiest down there are getting ready:

TAMPA, Fla. -- Following an extensive remodel, the Penthouse Club in Tampa, Fla., is finally ready for next summer's Republican National Convention. Club operator DeWayne Levesque has installed two secluded VIP sections, which he hopes will help his club attract a bigger share of the 50,000 visitors expected to descend upon the city on Aug. 27 for four days of conservative politics and liberal partying. In addition to the club's new carpets and furniture, the private rooms are designed to provide cover so that camera-shy donors, politicians and aides can enjoy the strippers without fear of getting caught, he said.

A few blocks from the Penthouse Club, another strip club owner, Joe Redner, said he has high hopes for what the convention means for business at his all-nude club, Mons Venus. "I'm guessing we'll make five times as much in a night as we usually do," Redner told HuffPost. "Republicans got plenty of money. They take it all from poor people," he said.

Redner said he thinks many convention visitors will be in the market for a lap dance, but newly-released academic research suggests that some will be interested in the darker elements of Tampa's adult scene, too -- sex for sale. HuffPost teamed up with Tampa-based reporter Shawn Alff, of the Creating Loafing media group, to examine the potential impact of the RNC on two major pillars of the city's X-rated economy: prostitution and strip clubs.

"I can make between $50,000-$60,000 a night at Mons Venus during the days leading up to the Superbowl," Redner explained, "up from $10,000-$12,000 on an average night." When asked how a buttoned-up, political clientele might differ from a Superbowl crowd, Redner laughed. "All customers look [at the dancers] the same, no matter what they're wearing or what they're here for." [Source]

Freaks!

Sometimes I wonder why the folks on the right hate his O ness so much. I mean he always seems to give them whatever they want.

"WASHINGTON -- After a vacuous back-and-forth over whether or not the president would be invited to address a joint session of Congress on Wednesday, Sept. 7, or Thursday, Sept. 8, the White House buckled to GOP demands and chose the latter date.

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney emailed a statement to the press Wednesday evening, emphasizing that the administration had consulted GOP leadership before it requested to speak on Wednesday. But, he added, the president was willing to move the date back to accommodate House Speaker John Boehner's concerns. " [Source]

That Obama is such an accommodating fellow. Such a decent Negro. Unfortunately for him, being accommodating won't do him any good. When you combine color arousa, with Obama derangement syndrome, you have a perfect storm for wingnuttery.

Finally, yet another former Bush administration official has called out Dick Cheney. Now it's Condi's turn to to call the former VP a Tommy Flanagan clone. "Yeah, that's the ticket."

Speaking in an interview with Reuters, Rice rejected Cheney's contention that she misled President George W. Bush about nuclear diplomacy with North Korea.

"I kept the president fully and completely informed about every in and out of the negotiations with the North Koreans," Rice said in her first public comments on the matter. "You can talk about policy differences without suggesting that your colleague somehow misled the president. You know, I don't appreciate the attack on my integrity that that implies."

Rice, in a telephone interview, also disputed a passage in Cheney's memoir, "In My Time," in which he says the secretary of state "tearfully admitted" that the Bush administration should not have apologized for a claim in Bush's 2003 State of the Union address on Iraq's supposed search for uranium for nuclear arms.
Cheney, who opposed a public apology for the unfounded claim, wrote that Rice "came into my office, sat down in the chair next to my desk, and tearfully admitted I had been right."

"It certainly doesn't sound like me, now, does it?" Rice said in the interview. "I would never -- I don't remember coming to the vice president tearfully about anything in the entire eight years that I knew him." [Source]

Oh boy, looks like somebody is lying. The frat boy might have to come out of hibernation to settle this one. Any bets on who he says has a growing nose?

He has some scores to settle.

This should be interesting. It seems that the wingnuts in Washington want to hold up FEMA funding for the hurricane battered East Coast states.

"As rescuers raced Tuesday to free people trapped by floodwaters caused by Hurricane Irene, Washington politicians bickered over how to pay for it.

The same budget arguments that nearly brought the first government default in history earlier this month now raise questions about whether the Federal Emergency Management Agency will have enough money to deal with Irene's aftermath.

FEMA's Disaster Relief Fund has less than $800 million remaining, and given the pace of operations in the wake of Irene, could run out before the end of the current fiscal year on September 30.

With conservative House Republicans calling for spending cuts to offset any increase in emergency funds -- a condition opposed by many Democrats -- the ability of Congress to act quickly on the issue remains uncertain.

"The notion that we would hold this up until Republicans can prompt another budget fight and figure out what they want to cut, what they want to offset in the budget, and to pit one section of the country against the other and to delay this and create this uncertainty, it's just the latest chapter and I think one of the most unsavory ones of our budget wars," said Rep. David Price, D-North Carolina." [Source]

Oh well, I guess we do need our government from time to time after all. Republicans, however, do not believe that.

This is a new twist to the class warfare game. Let's call it region warfare.

So Dick Cheney's book, "In My Time", will be in book stores today. ["Don't call it a comeback" ]

Cheney has some scores to settle. Already he is calling out Colin and doing it without any compunction. He even tried to embarrass Condi. If there has ever been a more crass and evil man [or woman] in A-merry-can politics I would like to know who it is. Even George Will is pissed at the porcine looking Neocon.

But I guess this is, according to Pat Buchanan, his last "political will and testament" to the A-merry-can people. He wants to set the record straight before he checks out of this life to his new one where it's very warm all year around. (I hope he packs light.) Mr. Cheney, I think your time is up.
