Cold Photos From the Flint Hills of Kansas

The trees got iced, the birds are knockin' at the door for food, the cats want in at 3 a.m. and dogs don't seem to mind eating frozen items they assume is meat. The Farmers Almanacs seem to be predicting a cold cold winter for most of the country but here in the Great Plains it may just be winter as usual. The following were taken with Canons. heh. Monday Monday

Grey Gray stiff breeze cold
This is what it feels like today.

Everyone who comes in is shell shocked with cold.

But it is only 24 with a -15 for wind chill- so, feels like 9.

Is it the   Monday  Effect?

Can you even begin to imagine what your life would be like in somalia
or congo?  Me neither, although i try.

no fireplaces, no chili.

Here is a beautiful girl who has many children and sisters and bothers who LOVE her!
