Werner Hertzog on Watching Films
Talking about 3D on R3 Arts Show 28/03/11 “It takes away the possibility of the viewer forming their own parallel story.” “A film forms and shapes itself inside the collective spirit of its specific audience” – Hertzog says that his films are differently received and perceived depending on who is watching them.

Update?
Two weeks to go…
Jam: The countdown has begun… two weeks left in ct, and it looks like to weeks of hard slog ahead of us! Got back from a weekend trip to jobberg, and discovered that we get to work a couple of doubles this week. Started with two closing shifts, then we got to work a double today (started at 9 this morning, and were due to finish at closing tonight. However due to kak weather, we got off earlierJ ).
Must admit, I’m getting over comments from the male customers… you know, the usual, you have the bluest eyes, the cutest smile etc. and every time you have to smile like you a) have no brain and b) like it’s the first time you have ever heard that before…Have discovered though that if you laugh at enough comments, and lull said customers into a false sense of superiority, you still achieve your goal at the end of the day…i.e. a good tip!
So, sitting here with Jar, watching starsky and hutch – there is just something about Owen Wilson’s broken nose… and the movie wasn’t too bad either. No Oscars, but hey, at times, you just need to unwind and switch off your mind! Speaking of which, think it’s time for me to switch off my mind and body!
Jar: Watched Forrest Gump before Starsky and Hutch, now that is an incredible movie, really enjoyed how Forrest cropped up in some of the US of A’s history…. Was awesome to be up in jhb, see some old faces and just relax away from a 6 day work week and all the stress of waitering!!!
