On this date in 1982, The Destructors released their debut album, The Destructors Exercise The Demons Of Youth. There were no singles released from the album. The album reached the #12 spot on the U.K. indie albums chart. The Petersborough, England punk band had formerly been called The Blanks. Before disbanding in 1984, they changed their name to Destructors V. They re-formed in 2006 as Destructors 666 and have both released new material and performed extensively.
