Some comment
excerpts i have read that i thought were worth repeating:

"There just are no words ..... how many times do we have to be smacked up side the head with a 2X4 before we realize how precious is the time we have with our good friends .." D

"We will all come to grips with his passing in our own way and time. However, I am confident that Boomer would not want us to dwell on the sadness of this moment. Rather, I am equally confident that he would prefer that we revel in stories of his adventures (and misadventures) and that we take a few moments to celebrate our time together...Peace!--" B.

"It was a WAR that day and Boomer was an animal! He was at all the break downs, winning lineouts and kickin ASS! If not for the cheap shots of the Blues second row that knocked B R out of the game and left WK with a broken eye socket, we would have won that game! I was proud to be Boomer's teammate that day! That was Boomer at his best on the Pitch and that is how I will always remember him..."  A

"I played with Boomer from 1981 to ????. I was always glad to have him on my side. He was always there. The younger guys like me really needed his experience many times. He drove the bus on long road trips while some of us were unable to drive. He sold his beard one clip at a time to help us as a fund raiser. He supported the team in all kinds of ways I am sure I did not realize at the time.
"...I have many memories of Boomer, all good. Remember when he would start speaking Russian at parties? That turned a few heads. ......He was a fixture in the Student Union at K-State. I think he was the only person to have his own table....
