It's a Vibrant Thing

I know Spring has only been around for 10 days, and that everybody is thinking about pastels and soft palettes. But, I am much more in love with these vibrant colors right now! Try these out for a vibrant manicure.

The Trade Winds Mark-Almond, A Small Beautiful Globe

Thinking of the astronomical (no pun intended) chances of Earth Being; the ancient Trade Winds; (travellers and explorers who found them, rode them); the Whales who surf the currents around this blue planet; the heartbreaking wonder of Bird migration; the impossibility of Butterfly migration; the need for us each to have a fellow traveler say "let me take you away .."

Here is the most beautiful song. I only have it on [the very rare1976 album, "To The Heart." Jon Mark and Johnny Almond met in the 60's when they played together in John Mayall's Bluesbreakers.] - I need to get it onto a disc somehow.

When i listen to it 7 times in a row i become desirous/nostaligic/depressed/withdrawn/searching/elevated.

Coco

Since I've come to Thailand, I've been discovering more and more about the beauty regimes of Southeast Asian women and about the products they used. I'll share about some along the way. I wanted to talk to you about one natural product that is highly sold to tourists, but is far from a tourist trap: virgin coconut oil. This is good stuff, let me tell you. It does EVERYTHING. It's fast-absorbing, and I smooth it on my skin post-shower, as I have never liked applying greasy lotion. It cures and cleanses the skin at the same time. I also use it as a hair mask, and I swear, I have never liked my hair better. Ever. I don't own a hairdryer, in humid Bangkok, and my hair is never frizzy. No flyaways. Heeeeaven.

Natural oils have been gaining popularity in the last few years. Tea tree, peppermint, argan. That's it. I'm done. I'm downsizing my bathroom cabinet. They moisturize, they soothe, they smooth, they cleanse. Some, like sweet almond oil, magically melt eye makeup and moisturize your lashes at the same time. What more do you want from nature???

New easy resolution for 2012: Use more natural products.

Are you using oils? Any tips?

Golden Eye

I saved this image of model Cintia Dicker (one of my favourite redheads) a while ago. I was mesmerized by the simple but stunning makeup, more importantly the combination of gold glitter eye makeup and red hair. And being a redhead myself, it went straight to my hard drive, saved in a folder of things I must try...

Simple perfection.

How To Look Perfect?

Beauty, is said that, in the eye of the beholder. It is true that most people have a completely different concept of beauty. So forget the idea that you can please everyone with its appearance. This is simply impossible. The most important thing is to see how you like in the mirror. Sometimes women go too far with the latest fashion trends and choose the styles that are simply not appropriate for them. Here is a typical example of this behavior of the girls in high heels hills are sorry, but 5 inches is too high is almost impossible to bear. If they say they are comfortable in them, do not think their feet are killing me.

If you want to avoid the ridicule simply ask yourself: Is that so? That is on the cover of Elle, does not necessarily mean it will look good on you. So rule number one is:

''If I do not like, is not for me.''

Following rule number one, come Rule number two:

''Do not forget the details.''

Even though she is dressed very casual, she's dressed in style and she hasn't forgotten that she is a woman and she has to always be chic and beautiful by using make-up!
