Well we did the same thing with my boyfriend last year when we went snowboarding on our last day of the season. It was actually pretty cool and fun. My bf was the whole day snowboarding in his suit's jacket, but I just put on my dress after the snowboard session cause I couldn't snowboard in it. (pictures to come)
