I saw a deep story on 60 Mintues last night. It was the one where the ten year old son of a Neo- Nazi leader shot him to death in his own home. That story had so many layers to it. My first thought was that it was just a case of "the chickens coming home to roost"; that this hate filled dude had it coming to him, and the fact that his killer was his own son made the whole thing that more prophetic. Now I am not so sure. The fact that this dude was a Neo-Nazi probably had nothing to do with why he was killed by this little monster. Yes, they were teaching him to hate at home, but by all accounts this child was born a monster. He might have taken out his old man if he was a guy who fed the poor every day and was up for a citizen of the year award.I thought of that 60 Minute story today when I read a story about a gun range in Texas that is hosting children's birthday parties. Most of you Second Amendment (pro) gun folks will say that there is nothing wrong with this, but it sure seems like Chuck E. Cheese would be a better spot for the rugrats to get busy to me.
I can't stress enough how much our culture of guns and violence is destroying our society.
"A new gun range opening this summer in Lewisville, Texas, will have two rooms available for hosting children's birthday parties. Owner David Prince tells WFAA that the Eagle Gun Range will be available for children as young as eight years old.
"The age limit is eight years old. You have to be tall enough to get above the shooting table," Prince said. "They're not gonna be left unattended. Parents are gonna be one-on-one, or if there's not enough parents we'll have range safety officers here to show them how to do it safely."

While it may seem unusual to celebrate pairing young children with guns, it's not an entirely unique practice. Last November, an Arizona gun club hosted a day of Christmas photos, where children could post with a man dressed as Santa Claus—and semiautomatic weapons. That event reportedly drew hundreds of attendees.
The soon-to-open Texas gun range has reportedly been well received by locals, though some nearby residents say they are opposed to letting such young children handle live firearms. [Source]
I don't think that when the Second Amendment was adopted into the Bill of Rights in 1791 eight year old children were to be a part of that "well regulated Militia". But hey, that's just me.
Speaking of children, can one of you Negroes explain to me what the hell is going on with our children? Please look at this facebook posting and tell me what is going on here, because I must have missed the part in school where they said it was cool to have children out of wedlock.
There are now reality shows on television glorifying teen pregnancy, and the four sick young ladies on this facebook page is the end result of that type of sick misplacement of our priorities.
My man Sharif wrote a post about "Speaking To The Youth" on his new blog, but I have to wonder if speaking will help. Honestly, when I see stuff like this, I want big mama to take a switch to their ignorant behinds.
Finally, I am staying with the children's theme:
*Is anyone in America looking for *this child? We never stopped looking for Etan Patz, why should Hassani Campbell be any different?
