Hoping for crisis, the Department of Homeland Security is warning this could be a difficult hurricane season. The liberal left loves hurricanes. Remember Katrina? It gave them the chance to start confiscating guns.
The Obama Administration is also using the warnings of a difficult hurricane season as an excuse for a call for government controlled communitarianism. They say community, but they mean authoritarian control of the masses.
Remember the last time they predicted a rough hurricane season? Yep, there were hardly any hurricanes. Well, they figure they have a 50-50 chance, and they couldn't foul it up this bad twice. Surely, that global warming thing will come through for them eventually, right?
It is sort of like evolution. They are full of theories, but never seem to be able to pull together any real evidence.
As for the massive hurricanes we are supposed to be looking for? Time will tell. We'll see.
Personally, I am keeping my powder dry. Nobody's confiscating my guns.
