Its not my job to announce it since the manager appoints, but it is the job of the MSM to poke around and find out...so the pending appointment of a provisional (not interim) police chief is not likely to remain top secret available only on a need to know basis.
The official announcement will occur after Chief Goss wraps up his 30 year career.
