The Town Painted Blue

I just heard of a very interesting place: Chefchaouen, located in the North-East of Morocco. Houses and public places are regularly painted in various shades of blue, and it makes an impressive sight. So, on my quest to find other color-coded towns of the world (Remember this?), I can now add the town painted blue...

Chefchaouen was founded in 1471, and by 1920, only THREE strangers had visited the town. It has now become more of a tourist attraction, even if slightly off the beaten path...
